S.T.R.O.N.G. Youth

Our Story

S.T.R.O.N.G. Youth, Inc. was founded in June 2000 in response to the tragic murder of Uniondale resident Eric Rivera by alleged gang members. Established by Sergio Argueta, a former gang member, this youth-driven organization aims to combat gang violence and educate young people about its dangers. Through community service projects, S.T.R.O.N.G. Youth has evolved into a leading agency for youth and gang violence prevention in the Northeast.

Impact

Over the years, S.T.R.O.N.G. Youth has reached more than 100,000 individuals and provided essential programming to over 800 youth and their families on Long Island, fostering partnerships with community organizations, schools, and law enforcement.
