Our Story
In 1885, Olive Ryther began a legacy of compassion by taking in four orphaned children, promising to raise them as her own. This commitment to caring for children evolved into the Ryther Child Center in 1941, focusing on youth with severe emotional and behavioral challenges. Today, Ryther continues to adapt its services to meet the needs of the community, providing outpatient mental health programs for youth facing issues such as trauma, substance use, and autism spectrum disorders.
