Founded in 1888, Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines is the oldest nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to providing a comfortable retirement for aged, abused, or injured horses. Established by Anne Waln-Ryerss, the farm has evolved over the years and now resides in Chester County, PA, where it continues to fulfill its mission of caring for equines in need.
