Ruth’s Shawl

Our Story

Ruth’s Shawl began through the prayers of a dedicated group of women in Central California, inspired by a chance meeting between a Malawian Pastor and an American woman in Malawi. Overseen by a diverse Board of Directors from California, North Carolina, England, and Malawi, the organization is committed to proclaiming the Gospel and demonstrating God's love in Malawi.

Impact

Through adult literacy programs and schools of ministry, Ruth’s Shawl empowers individuals in Malawi with education and biblical training. The organization has successfully trained teachers and provided essential resources, enabling adults to learn to read and write, thereby sharing knowledge and the Gospel within their communities.
