The Ruth Project

Our Story

Founded by Tammy McMahan and her husband, The Ruth Project began its journey in 2016 when they became licensed foster parents. Since then, they have fostered 23 children, leading to the establishment of a support system for foster families. The first Ruth Storehouse opened in November 2020, providing essential resources to those in need.

The Ruth Project is dedicated to providing ongoing support and community connections to foster and adoptive families, significantly reducing the dropout rate among foster families.
