Our Story
It all began when John Ruskin and his student Mikey Myers envisioned transforming a WWII airplane mechanic’s hangar into a vibrant theatre. With the help of dedicated volunteers, stage lights were affixed to steel beams, and theatre seats were installed, creating the intimate L-shaped stage cherished by audiences today. Since opening our first play, "Career," on February 14, 2003, Ruskin Group Theatre has produced over 80 shows and hundreds of cafe plays, earning numerous awards along the way.
