Rural Outreach Center

Our Story
The Rural Outreach Center (ROC) emerged from the dedication of Pathways Christian Fellowship, founded in 2006 by Reverend Frank Cerny. Initially focused on urban poverty in Buffalo, the group recognized the dire needs of rural communities in Western New York. Through community meals and consultations, it became clear that rural populations were not just underserved but entirely overlooked. In 2013, ROC became an independent 501(c)(3) organization, evolving to provide essential 'wrap-around' services to those in need.
Impact
Each month, ROC supports over 100 active participants through counseling, play therapy, care coordination, and mentoring. These programs empower individuals to build confidence and achieve self-sufficiency.
