Church Planting and Strengthening

Our Story

Founded in 1942 by Rev. C.J. Rediger, the Rural Home Missionary Association (RHMA) emerged from a deep concern for the spiritual health of rural America during the early years of World War II. As populations shifted from rural areas to cities, many small-town churches faced closure and neglect. Recognizing this urgent need, Rev. Rediger and his wife initiated Bible studies, Sunday Schools, and Vacation Bible Schools, ultimately leading to the establishment of RHMA in Morton, Illinois.

Impacting Communities

Over the decades, RHMA has successfully planted and revitalized churches across the United States, reaching out to communities that often feel overlooked. The organization has played a pivotal role in reopening closed churches and establishing new congregations, ensuring that the spiritual needs of rural Americans are met. Countless individuals have come to know Christ and have been nurtured in their faith through RHMA's dedicated efforts.
