Transportation For Seniors And Adults With Disabilities

Our Story

Rural Alternative for Transportation (RAFT) was founded in April 2013 by five dedicated citizens of Berthoud, Colorado. In response to the cessation of transportation services for seniors and adults with disabilities living outside the town limits, RAFT emerged to fill a critical gap. Over the past decade, ridership has surged by over 300%, reflecting the growing need for reliable transportation in the surrounding rural areas.

Our Impact

Your generous donations empower RAFT staff and volunteers to meet the increasing demand for transportation services for seniors aged 60 and older, as well as adults aged 18 to 59 with disabilities. Together, we can combat geographic isolation and enhance mobility in Northern Colorado.
