In 2012, Sean Astin's #RUN3rd mission inspired the creation of RUN3RD Alliance. In Mesa, Arizona, Mindy Przeor developed a curriculum for an after-school running club, leading to a partnership that birthed the RUN3rd after-school running program. The first RUN3rd 5k was held in 2015, raising essential funds for the program, and by 2018, RUN3RD Alliance proudly achieved 501(c)(3) status.
RUN3RD Alliance has positively impacted 4,797 students, supported 114 running programs, and donated $140,000 to enhance youth running initiatives.
