About Rubye's Kids

Founded in 1994 by Roz Weiss and Dr. Don Weiss, Rubye's Kids was born from a heartfelt desire to bring joy to children in need during the holiday season. After a successful first holiday party for 75 children, the initiative grew exponentially, honoring the memory of Rubye Caesar, a dedicated advocate for children in North Philadelphia. Today, Rubye's Kids serves hundreds of children each year, providing not just holiday cheer but essential support throughout the year.

Rubye's Kids empowers children experiencing homelessness by providing educational supplies, personal care items, and joyful experiences that foster strong values and respect for self and others.
