Founded in 2002, Row New York combines the discipline of competitive rowing with rigorous academic support to empower young people across New York City. This unique approach fosters a strong work ethic, persistence, and grit, equipping participants with the skills needed to excel both on the water and in the classroom.

Impact

Row New York proudly boasts a 100% high school graduation rate among seniors. Our year-round competitive program offers over 1,000 hours of athletic training and academic support annually, ensuring that student-athletes not only pass swimming tests but also exceed recommended physical activity levels. With 78% of participants identifying as People of Color, our programs are a beacon of diversity and inclusion.
