Our Story
In December 1913, a group of 114 visionary leaders gathered at the St. George Hotel in Evansville, Indiana, to form the Rotary Club of Evansville. This initiative, led by R. H. Pennington, marked the beginning of a century-long commitment to community service and international humanitarian efforts. The club received its charter from Rotary International on March 1, 1914, and has since represented the best of Evansville, driving impactful projects that uplift the community.
