Rosedale Food Pantry

Our Story

Founded in 1989 at Pittsburgh East Church, Rosedale Food Pantry began with a mission to support local families in need. Initially serving 30-40 families a week, the pantry relocated to Rosedale United Methodist Church in 2003 and has since expanded its reach to serve 170-240 families weekly, with over 700 families registered. This growth is made possible by the dedication of over 40 volunteers who tirelessly work to ensure that no family goes hungry.

Our Impact

Each week, Rosedale Food Pantry processes close to 15,000 pounds of food, providing approximately 11,000 meals monthly to local families. This vital service helps alleviate food insecurity in the community.
