Our Story

During the Great Depression, Rose and George Steinford witnessed the struggles of needy children in their Northern Kentucky community. Taking on the roles of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, they began purchasing, repairing, and distributing used toys to bring joy to these children. Their mission inspired community involvement, leading to the establishment of the Rose and George Steinford Toy Association by the Covington-Kenton County Jaycees after George's passing. Today, The Steinford Toy Foundation continues this legacy, ensuring that families in need experience the joy of Christmas.
