Our Story
The Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation was established in 1980 by The Detroit News and Detroit Public Schools to honor the legacy of Rosa Parks. This foundation awards scholarships to Michigan high school seniors who exemplify her ideals of social justice and community service.
Impact
Since its inception, the foundation has awarded over $3 million in scholarships to more than 2,250 students, empowering them to pursue higher education and continue the fight for social justice.
