Root-Pike WIN

Our Story

Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network, known as Root-Pike WIN, was established over two decades ago in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to tackle critical water quality challenges in the Root-Pike basin. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2001, Root-Pike WIN has spearheaded over half a million dollars in projects aimed at enhancing water quality and restoring natural habitats.

Our Impact

With the successful implementation of EPA-approved watershed restoration plans, Root-Pike WIN has significantly improved water quality, reduced runoff, and restored habitats for over 1.6 million residents in the region.
