Our Story

The Ronald McDonald House program began in 1974 in Philadelphia, driven by a community's commitment to support families with sick children. The Southwest Florida chapter was established in 1991 and opened its doors in December 1996, expanding its services to include the Ronald McDonald Family Room and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.

Impact

In 2023, RMHC SWFL provided 2,915 family night stays and served over 7,000 children through the Care Mobile program, showcasing a profound impact on families in need.
