Our Story
Ron Finley is a rebel with a green thumb. In 2010, he began addressing the issue of neglected parkways in his South Central neighborhood by planting vegetables in barren dirt patches. After facing legal challenges for gardening without a permit, he rallied fellow green activists to demand the right to garden in their community. Growing up in a food desert, Ron's vision is to rejuvenate neighborhoods through gardening, knowledge, and togetherness.
