Rocky Mountain Health Foundation (RMHF) has a rich history that began 40 years ago with Rocky Mountain Health Plans in Grand Junction, Colorado. Established to ensure access to quality, affordable healthcare, RMHF was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1997 to drive innovative healthcare solutions. Following the sale of RMHP in 2017, RMHF emerged with a mission to address critical health needs and enhance access for underserved populations in Western Colorado.
RMHF has awarded over $574,000 in grants to health-focused organizations on the Western Slope, including $163,000 in Staff Care grants during the COVID-19 pandemic. These initiatives have significantly improved health access and outcomes for vulnerable populations.
