Discover the Rich History of Rockwall County

The Rockwall County Historical Foundation was established on January 16, 1978, with a mission to collect and preserve the rich history of Rockwall County. This nonprofit organization operates three historic buildings located in Harry Meyers Park: the Manson-LaMoreaux-Hartman House, the Bailey House, and the Tenant Cabin. Through engaging exhibits, informative lectures, and family-friendly programs, RCHF connects the community with its past, showcasing significant stories such as Texas’ first female dentist and the intriguing investigations surrounding the mysterious rock wall.
