Rock ‘n’ Read Project

Our Story

The Rock ‘n’ Read Project, founded in 2014 by Bill Jones and Ann Kay, believes that reading is the key to success for children. By transforming a retired city bus into a mobile reading lab, the organization has brought innovative literacy solutions directly to children in north Minneapolis. Equipped with computers and the engaging TUNE into READING (TiR) software, the bus creates a fun and interactive learning environment that captivates struggling readers. Over the years, the focus has expanded to include prenatal brain preparation workshops and a comprehensive PreK/K curriculum.
