Rock House Kids began in 1999 when a nine-year-old boy sought refuge from a dangerous home. Our Founder provided him with food, clothing, and support, leading to the establishment of a safe haven for neighborhood children. Over the years, RHK has grown into a nurturing environment where children can escape the streets, enjoy hot meals, and receive mentorship from dedicated staff and volunteers.
Since its inception, RHK has created a warm and safe environment for Rockford’s inner-city children, grades 1-12, ensuring they receive essential support.
