Founded in 1930, the Rock County Historical Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving the rich history of Rock County. Initially displaying artifacts in local business windows, the society has grown significantly, acquiring the Hinkly House in 1959, the Masonic Temple in 1996, and the Herman Motor building in 2016, which now serves as the History Center.
