Our Story

The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation was established in memory of Connor Dawes, who bravely fought against ependymoma, a type of brain cancer. After 16 months of battling this disease, Connor passed away in 2013. This foundation was created to honor his spirit and to support other children facing similar challenges.

Impact

Since its inception, the RCD Foundation has raised over $1.7 million for children with brain cancer. With a commitment of over $1.2 million, the foundation is actively working on developing a brain cancer vaccine in partnership with The University of Queensland.
