Riverview Charter School

Our Story

Founded in 2009, Riverview Charter School opened its doors on Burroughs Avenue, welcoming 254 Kindergarten through fifth grade students. As Beaufort County’s first public charter school, Riverview was established by a dedicated group of parents who believed in the power of community to effect change. With a curriculum centered on experiential learning, Riverview aims to cultivate engaged, global citizens.
