Our Story

The Riverside Arts Academy is a vibrant arts mentoring program dedicated to providing inspirational and creative arts education to children and youth in Riverside. Founded in 2012, RAA offers over 50 hours of instruction weekly in various arts classes, including strings, band, mariachi, orchestra, and percussion, serving 2,000 students annually. Through partnerships with local educational institutions and community organizations, RAA enhances its programming and outreach, adapting to meet the evolving needs of the community.

Impact

Riverside Arts Academy awards hundreds of need-based scholarships each year, enabling students to receive world-class music instruction and instrument loans. With over 2,500 participants served, RAA embraces an attitude of service to youth, aiming to change the course of the city through music and the arts.
