Rivers of Hope

Our Story

Founded in 1989 by concerned citizens in Elk River, Minnesota, Rivers of Hope addresses domestic violence through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Initially focused on adults, the organization expanded to include youth programs in 1991, serving all of Sherburne and Wright Counties.

Impact

Since its inception, Rivers of Hope has served thousands, providing advocacy services to 191 youth and 598 adults in 2024 alone. Over 2,000 students have been educated about healthy relationships, empowering them to foster positive connections.
