Founded in 1872 by Grace Dodge, Riverdale Neighborhood House (RNH) has a rich history of serving the local community in the Northwest Bronx. Originally starting as a lending library, RNH has evolved into a vital multi-service agency that addresses the unique needs of over 5,000 residents. As the only non-sectarian agency in Riverdale, RNH is dedicated to fostering community bonds, promoting equity, and providing essential resources across generational, cultural, racial, and economic lines.
