Our Story

Established in 1988, River Legacy Foundation is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the land along the Trinity River and its tributaries. With a rich history that began with its first gift in 1976, the foundation opened the Nature Center in 1996, serving as a hub for environmental education and community engagement.
