Our Story

In 1984, a transformative journey began on a stretch of I-80, where six friends were inspired by a performance from the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus. This pivotal moment sparked the creation of the River City Mixed Chorus (RCMC) in Omaha, Nebraska. With a mission to spread messages of love, unity, inclusion, acceptance, and empowerment, RCMC has grown from a small group of ten to over 130 passionate singing members.
