Founded in 2004 by local moms Christy Walsworth and Shawna James, Rising Stars Preschool emerged from a community need for quality preschool services in La Pine. With the support of the La Pine Community Action Team, the preschool opened its doors to a small group of children and has since expanded to meet the evolving needs of the community, including adapting to challenges posed by COVID-19.
For nearly two decades, Rising Stars Preschool has provided a nurturing environment that fosters social and emotional development, preparing children for a successful transition to kindergarten.
