Founded in the early 1990s by Paul Savramis, Rising Stars began as a series of summer camps aimed at enriching the lives of children. Over the decades, it has evolved into a non-profit Youth Foundation that utilizes sports as a vehicle for education and personal growth. With the leadership of Dan Gimpel, Jay Williams, and Althea Williams, Rising Stars has expanded its programs to include a dedicated girls program and a comprehensive approach to youth development.

Rising Stars has made a significant impact in the lives of countless children and their families. With over $1.5 million invested in education, the organization boasts a remarkable 100% graduation rate, with all student-athletes continuing their education in college. The recent opening of The Rising Stars Athletic Complex in Freeport, NY, has further solidified its role as a community hub for sports and education.
