Rise Up for Kids

Our Story

Rise Up for Kids began in 1993 as a basketball team at Stratton Elementary, a low-income school. Founded by Michael Marion, the initiative has evolved into a comprehensive afterschool program that has positively impacted over 1000 students since 1994.

Impact

Participants in our programs who engage for three years or more experience significant success, with many gaining employment, attending college, or joining the military.
