Our Story

Founded in 2014 by Amanda Nguyen, Rise began as a movement to ensure equality for sexual assault survivors. After facing personal injustices, Amanda created a platform that empowers individuals to drive democracy and create meaningful change.

Impact

Rise has successfully passed over 88 laws, positively affecting more than 112 million people with essential civil rights protections. Through the Rise Justice Labs accelerator program, over 2000 organizers have been trained to advocate for their rights and the rights of others.
