Our Story

The R.I.S.E Arts Center was founded by Kammeran Giggers, who discovered her love for theatre at a young age in Baltimore. After years of professional acting, she returned to her roots to teach performing arts to students with special needs. Witnessing the transformative power of the arts in her students' lives inspired her to create R.I.S.E, aiming to provide more arts opportunities for youth in underserved communities and those with autism or intellectual disabilities.

The R.I.S.E Arts Center provides a multidisciplinary arts education to youth in underserved communities and neurodivergent youth, helping them develop confidence, responsibility, and communication skills through various artistic disciplines.
