Founded in 2009 as Second Wind Fund of Boulder County, Rise Against Suicide was renamed in 2020 to better reflect its mission. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to supporting youth in Boulder, Longmont, and surrounding areas who are experiencing suicidal ideation. By connecting young individuals aged 19 and under with trained therapists, Rise Against Suicide aims to help them understand their thoughts and feelings, fostering hope and healing.
With over 12,000 funded therapy sessions, Rise Against Suicide provides a safe space for youth to discuss their struggles. The organization has successfully restored hope in over 1,500 young lives, ensuring that mental health support is accessible to those in need.
