Our Story

Rise Above Performing Arts was born from a dream to provide students in the local area with unique and advanced opportunities in the performing arts. Recognizing the limited options available for students outside of school, the founders aimed to create a safe and nurturing environment where children could learn, share, and showcase their talents. Over the years, the organization has expanded its reach, now serving students from kindergarten through college.

With a commitment to inclusivity, Rise Above offers a rich theatrical learning experience for local youth, regardless of their background, gender, or social status. The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers and business partners, ensuring that all children have access to the arts at no cost to their families.

Impact

Each year, over 200 children, teens, and young adults benefit from our programs, participating in theatrical productions, summer camps, and our award-winning show choir—all at no cost to their families.
