Our Story

Rio Grande Community Farm has been a beacon of sustainable agriculture since 1997, operating on Los Poblanos Fields Open Space in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing equitable access to urban farmland and education in sustainable practices.

Impact

In 2023, the farm hosted 17,000 attendees at various events, supported over 100 community gardeners, and engaged 480 participants in educational classes. The organization also composted 6,600 gallons of food waste, significantly enhancing community education and environmental sustainability.
