Our Story

Ridge and Valley Conservancy was established in the late 1980s by a dedicated group of individuals from the Frelinghuysen Township Open Space Committee. Their vision to preserve a small triangle of land blossomed into a larger mission, leading to the incorporation of RVC as a nonprofit land trust in 1992. Since then, RVC has successfully protected over 5,000 acres of ecologically significant open space and farmland, collaborating with landowners and communities to ensure the preservation of our natural heritage.
