Our Story

Founded in 1989, Ride With Pride serves riders in the greater Augusta County area, providing therapeutic equine activities for individuals with physical, emotional, and developmental special needs. This unique connection between horses and humans fosters personal growth and unlocks potential.

Impact

Each year, Ride With Pride supports approximately 150 therapeutic riders from over 8 community groups, including foster care and veterans. Participants experience documented improvements in motor coordination, muscle strength, and self-esteem.

Donations are vital for the care of the horses and the sustainability of therapeutic programs. With an average monthly care cost of $290 per horse, contributions help bridge the gap between operating costs and the fees paid by families.
