Our Story

In 2007, the Richmond Fire Department faced a tragic loss with the deaths of several firefighters. This heart-wrenching experience led to the establishment of the Richmond Fire Department Foundation in 2008, dedicated to supporting the fire family during their most challenging times. The foundation has since inspired other departments to create similar support systems.
