Richardson East Rotary Club

Our Story

The Richardson East Rotary Club, chartered in September 1985, has been a beacon of hope and service in the Richardson community. With a humble beginning of 23 dedicated members, the club quickly made its mark by initiating impactful service projects, including the installation of playground equipment at the YMCA and the Leadership Grove at City Hall. Over the years, the club has evolved its fundraising efforts, hosting the annual Games & Gala, which has raised significant funds for scholarships and community initiatives.

Impact

Through its efforts, the Richardson East Rotary Club has sponsored over $54,000 in college scholarships for Richardson Independent School District students, nearly $87,000 for international service projects, and close to $50,000 for local community service projects, positively impacting lives both locally and globally.
