The organization is organized and operated for the purposes of providing support to William Marsh Rice University (EIN 74-1109620), a Section 501(c)(3) organization, in connection with the charitable, scientific, or educational programs and activities. The organization has undertaken to provide innovative programs and research that engage faculty and students to design and implement technologies to solve real health challenges affecting low resource settings.
