In early 2015, a dedicated group of agencies serving children, youth, and families in Rhode Island recognized the urgent need for a cohesive children's policy and practice organization. This collaboration, supported by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, led to the formation of the Rhode Island Coalition for Children and Families (RICCF). Since its incorporation, RICCF has been committed to addressing the complex needs of vulnerable populations.
The Coalition focuses on preventing and addressing the challenges faced by children, youth, and families at risk due to poverty, health issues, and family violence. Through targeted initiatives, RICCF strives to create a safer and more supportive environment for those in need.
