Our Story

Founded in 2012 by Angela Cerci, RezDawg Rescue emerged from the urgent need to address the crisis of homeless animals on the Navajo Nation. With local shelters overwhelmed, many animals faced euthanasia. RezDawg Rescue collaborates with communities to save lives through transport, foster care, veterinary treatment, and adoption.

Our Impact

Each year, RezDawg Rescue transports 1,650 animals, facilitates 850 adoptions, and performs 2,500 spay/neuter surgeries, significantly reducing the number of homeless pets.
