Our Story

Founded in 2019 by Danielle Roth-Lapolla and Jon Lapolla, Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas (RRLV) is a dedicated volunteer-based organization focused on rescuing dogs, particularly Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers, from cruel and inhumane situations overseas. Witnessing horrific abuse in various countries motivated the founders to save as many dogs as possible, regardless of breed. RRLV partners with international rescuers to ensure that each dog is temperament tested and receives necessary medical care before being adopted into loving homes.

Impact

RRLV has successfully rescued numerous dogs from meat farms and abusive situations, providing them with the medical care and safe environments they need before finding their forever homes.
