Our Story

Founded by Dr. Agrawal in 2012, Retina Global emerged from a profound need for a dedicated organization addressing retinal ailments. After witnessing the challenges faced by patients in underserved regions across multiple continents, the mission became clear: to provide not only care but also education and training for local ophthalmologists. The journey began with the first mission to Burundi in 2015, and since then, volunteer retina specialists have traveled to Central and South America and Africa, making a significant impact.
