Our Story

Since 1987, Restoring the Wells has been dedicated to serving communities across the globe. Founded by Ken and Michelle Grenfell in a small Presbyterian Church in South Africa, this ministry has blossomed into a powerful force for good, impacting lives in 27 countries. With a deep love for people and a commitment to God's will, the Grenfells have led youth groups, children's ministries, and multiple churches across two continents. Their journey brought them to the United States in 2003, where they continued their mission by establishing Free Life Church in Leesburg, Virginia.
