Founded in Johnson City, Tennessee, Restore Life USA began in 2008 with a vision to advance medical research through body donation. With over 20 years of experience in tissue banking, James Byrd established the organization to support spine injury research and later expanded to provide joint specimens for surgical training. In 2011, the Body Donation Program was launched, allowing Restore Life USA to become a trusted supplier of human tissues for researchers and educators across the United States and beyond.
